Dear Tony Bone,
Very pleased to see that you are forming a group to save Aldeburgh library. I am on the working party with the same aims in Debenham.
You are probably in touch with Steve Smedley at Leiston, who will have told you about the meeting at Endeavour house last Friday and other things that have been going on, including the Save All Suffolk Libraries petition.
I was also at that meeting and if there is anything else I can tell you please contact me.
Good luck and regards,
Andrew

There's 'The Good Library Blog' which also has an item on Aldeburgh and what is happening at other libraries - a chance to compare strategies.

From Rosehill Readers at rosehillreaders.wordpress.com Save the date -Saturday 2nd April On Saturday 2nd April we will be marching in Ipswich to protest against the library cuts and to show our support of the library service. We want You to join us! We will be starting from Endeavour House at 11a.m. The route has yet to be finalised, we're hoping to have it in place by the beginning of next week. This is an event for ALL Suffolk library users,as ALL Suffolk libraries are at risk of closure or divestment. Don't forget that Suffolk County Council have admitted that after the divestment process they won't directly employ ANY library staff. If you live in Suffolk, your library is under threat! At the moment, campaign groups from Rosehill, Leiston, Stradbroke, Debenham, Bungay and Eye are talking to each other to co-ordinate plans. We would love to hear from any other campaign groups or individuals out there. (The message continues with a "please sign up to receive blog update or follow us on Twitter.")
